Why engineers should care about marketing

We as engineers often distrust marketing. But being great at marketing is a force multiplier. It's also a journey. I created this site to write about it.

I've noticed a lot of different engineering roles that interface with marketing, or benefit from being good at it. This include folks who:

- work at a startup or directly with marketing: product engineers, web developers, growth engineers, marketing engineers, DevRel.
- are thinking of starting a company, or already have: indie hackers, bootstrappers, current or future founders
- lead eng projects in a large organization: staff engineer+, eng managers, eng directors...
